Well, I live in Toronto and I think we are influenced by the United States a lot. Some Canadians are ignorant and say "we are nothing like the U.S." ... but that's not true. We are one of the most Americanized countries in the world. Most of our retail stores are American, and most of our TV channels are American. I think that the negative consequence of this, is that there really is no such thing as Canadian culture. The positive is that we have access to some of the best companies, stores and TV networks in the world ... the American ones. We are also able to watch American sports like MLB, NBA, NCAA, NFL, which are the best and most supported sports leagues in the world.

Even though we are influence by the United States, we will never be the U.S. There will never be as much opportunities in Canada, as there are in America. That’s why I’m moving to Raleigh, NC as soon as my green card application is approved.

Positive: Spread of Marjory league sports, if that is important to you,
Negative: If there's a military draft, Canada will cooperate in not allowing young men US defectors and will return them to the US to be locked in American Concentration Camps a as deserters. This is not just negative, but immoral and terrible.
