I like Canada. The people are wonderful. I was a bit disturbed when I was pulled over and the police checked my car for weapons and drugs because I had US plates.
I also had my car torn apart at the Washington and Alaska border. It reminded me of going through the Tijuana border only I never got the profile treatment there.
I have heard harsh comments from people about Canada’s indifference to our problems with the Middle East after the WTC collapse.
I don’t believe Canadians are misunderstood. You should hear what we say about our neighbors to the South.
For me I am all for a country that takes care of its people with National Health Care and Auto Insurance.

many Americans aren't really taught much as much about Canada as we Canadians are taught about the US. Did you see Rick Mercer's Talking to Americans. Funny as hell!
