Guys, there is a section here called Resolved Questions - this question is asked about 20 times a day.

There are 200 - 250 words per standard printed page. There are between 100 and 140 thousand words in an average book - maybe a bit less. Books are put together in "signatures" of 16 pages - so the number of pages in a book (including title pages, dedications, blank pages etc) is always a multiple of 16. If you take a book and fan it open, you will notice it falls into little clumps. Each of those clumps is 16 pages. That is how printing presses and binding machines work. C.

I havent had time to count! an average novel is 300ish pages. count the pages and multiply by the words on a page. hope it helped! or do it for a few books and average it.

i haven't the foggiest......i never took the time to count. you maybe able to find it online though. or if you count how many are on a page than multiply it time the number of pages in the average novel you'll get something close.
