Yes. However you should also rule out pregnancy. The symptoms are incredibly similar.....
but yes it causes hormone changes which will affect your breasts just like when you are about to start your period. nausea and weight gain are normal too. Our bodies are controlled by hormones and if you alter them some people have major side affects.
You can also be put on a low dose pill or another option like the hormonal ring if the side effects bother you..

Yes, swelling and pain of the breasts, nausea, weight gain can be side effects of taking the pill.
I have had to wear a larger sized bra over the past 10 years because of the breast tenderness and such from being on the pill.
I would recommend checking with your dr to be on the safe side though.

I don't know about the engorged breasts, but all the others were experienced by me when I was on it. In addition to those I experienced depression, and a complete loss of my sex drive.
Talk to your doc if you are having troublesome side effects, or even if you just want to understand what is going on with your body. You should be able to talk to your doc about things like this.

They can be side effects. It differs from person-to-person and sometimes it's only temporary till your body adjusts to the pill, and other times you just need a different brand. Their are lots of different brands and makes, each will react differently with different people.
There are other more serious side effects that can occur, but they are usually only a concern if you are over 35 and/or smoke.

This depends on the pill you are taking and how your body is adjusting. Women vary on their symptoms. Talk to your gyno and maybe the hormone level could be too high.
