Do you think the government spies on you? Why?

yes they are always listening. just a few weeks ago the feds busted into this artist's house a town across from mine, because in his yard he had a cardboard cutout of bush with a knife in his head so they thought he was a terrorist. theyre all like, you know you have a knife in the president's head, dont you? and hes all, um no, i have a knife in a piece of cardboard. but ya, their always out to get ya.

Yes, because I think that the people in the government get bored sometimes... and what they do for fun is spy on people. They can do that because it won't REALLY ruin them because they can always say, "I work for the government" or something like that... or maybe it's just my imagination... You never know, but the government could be spying on me right now... The reason is that they could think that I'm a major freak and they want to learn more about me... like if I'm REALLY a hippie that will do outrageous things that are stereotypical to hippies... and they are probably trying to figure out why I'm buying so many Beatle, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and etc. albums when I already have them... so yeah.... I think they're spying on me because I'm a supsicious hippie...

I believe the government spies on alot of people but I feel that Bush and his cronies will pay the piper in the end. The government and Bush is and will continue to surpress dissenter and opposition to their agenda whether it be the illegal occupation of a country or the greed of it's corporate partners.

Yes that way when they make their case on you they already have evidence. In the movie Enemy of the State Gene Hackman made a statement that there r 100 words(could be more havent seen the movie in a while) that sets off a trigger on phones it was just a movie, however was that really make believe. The govt keeps track of its flock just like any herder does.

I don't think thy do it just for the fun of it.
But if my name was to come up on something thy are working on thy have all the info on me thy would need .
I'd like to think there's a reason for all that info thy collect on us.

Thy know where you work how much you get pay,where you live,what kind of car you have, how much you have in the bank, how many kids you have, if your marred or divorced, I can go on and on.
But as long as I'm a good citizen and thy make no mistakes with all that information thy have on me it's ok.

Now if thy want to put a computer chip in our body to know are where abouts 24/7 I'd have to say kiss my @ss to that one.

No I don't. But if they did, i would not mind. I have nothing to hide....well, I have a wee bit, but I hardly think that would raise any alarms!!
If this is something I would have to put up with,in light of terrorists and how they have changed things, then so be it. Whatever it takes to assure our well-being....I'm for it!! I am not one of "those people"who want all but doesn't want to sacrifice.
I am a realist.

All the time. You ever get mail from over-seas? I do but it has been opened every time by someone prior to it arriving to me. Hmm..I wonder who would do that; oh yea, Uncle Sam.
