im goine to buy a nintendo wii and I wanted to buy a ps3 also but I just think its alot of money right now, I never bought a ps2 because I had xbox soo since Im not goine to buy a ps3 right now should I get ps2 or is it a bad idea? plz help

It really depends on what you like.
PS2 has a lot of great of great titles. However they are all compatible with the PS3. Do you just want to play the ps2 games or are you wanting some of the PS3 games as well? If so I would recommend waiting just a little bit of time for the PS3 to drop price. Plus through buying a PS3 you get more features such as a Blu ray player which currently cost not much less.

hey dude,the ps3 has not officially launched in india...whats more the ps2 has a wide variety of game titles available under its belt...so it should be a good choice.The ps3 when available will cost at an estimated price of 35k (atleast thats what i hve read on the net & in magazines) so i think rather than burning a hole in your pocket now go for the ps2 which cost at around 10k officially & if you go for a modded one it can cost you around 7-8k....I bot one just a few days back...& i am sure that i wont be disappointed as it should keep me occupied for the next 2 yrs atleast with the no of titles it has under its name. Also we are not going to see many ps3 titles released.....atleast not till the end of this year...so i think the ps2 should make a good investment....

Oh ye get a ps2 they have some great titles on there and for about $100 and you get a fair big of gaming in there they are always great for some light gaming .. Some good titles are
FInal Fantasy 10
Final Fanatsy X-2
Final Fanatsy 12
KingdoM Hearts 1 and 2 ( if you are young )
God Of War
and Many others...

yeah. there still good. unless u want to buy a ps3 that cost over 500$. i would buy a ps2. buy one of the new ps2 there better then the old ps2s.

buddy ps3 some what costly right now wait fot two months the cost will reduce ps2 is waste ps3 has wireless joystick and many good facilities

if you want a PS2 they are worth it as long as u try to get the original style of them as the newer version is prone to overheating and the power cords burn up fairly easy if the system stays in use for long time

yes get one. they are a good console and they last long. the only thing that it cant do is brows the net and plays blue ray disks.; so get one and when u feel like bying the ps3 in the future get one.
