Is it OK to text a person who wish not to speak with me because of the way we broke up. I am still in love with this person I don't feel it is over because he didn't explain why.
is it OK to ask him why?

Let it go. You'll just get the answer he wants you to hear and not the truth.

No one ever gives the reason. There are formulae that it is appropriate to say, like "It's not you, it's me," or "I would rather be friends", or "I'm not ready for a relationship right now", which are all meaningless, but are simply ways of saying 'It's over." If you ask him, he will just give you a formulaic response and you will still be unsatisfied.

But that's the way it works. It's like when you don't get a job and they send you a letter saying "We were very impressed with your application but there were lots of qualified applicants and we regret to inform you that on this occassion your application has been unsuccessful." It's all junk, they say it to everyone, but it's what you say to avoid the awkwardness of trying to analyse and explain decisions.

It seems unfair sometimes that you can't get a straight response but we have these formulae for a reason. People don't always know why they make decisions or they make decisions for reasons they know are arbitrary. But the reasons don't matter, only the decision does, and once it's made, it's made.

In short - don't send the text. Work out your own explanation for why he left - it will be just as good as anything he can tell you.

No, There is no reason other wise he would have told you. He is just not a man. Pray for him instand of texting him. Move on and you will find someone who realy loves you and then thank your ex because you got a chance to find the fifference.

Of course you deserve an answer. Text messaging is great. It doesnt put anyone on the spot, it will give him time to answer. Dont expect it to be an instant response.

Probably time to move on to be honest. Txt is nice so you don't have to actually speak to the person though lol.

if i where u, i would just drop it.. If he wont talk to u, then why even bother?

My x and i broke up, and even though i missed him alot, and wanted to find out why we broke up, i left it alone.. and i heard that later he moved back home..

Still 2 years later, i still wonder why.. But, it would have just started problems for me, if i started talking to him again!

good luck!

Ya but guys never give a chick closure. They are suky like that.

i can understand that you need closure, but you may not get
the answer that you need to hear. so i would just leave it
along and move on. sometime it better to leave the past
in the past.

I would not text. He may not be truthful anyway and apparently has moved on.
