I thought he was great in Lucky # Slevin, he did something he's never done before and it was great-- really showed his versatility and strong acting ability.
He has one movie coming out called Resurrecting the Champ with Samuel L. Jackson. Here's the description:
Up-and-coming sports reporter (Hartnett) rescues a homeless man ("Champ", Jackson) only to discover that he is, in fact, a boxing legend believed to have passed away. What begins as an opportunity to resurrect Champ's story and escape the shadow of his father's success becomes a personal journey as the ambitious reporter reexamines his own life and his relationship with his family
Due out sometime this year
Working on a thriller called 30 Days of Night -
After an Alaskan town is plunged into darkness for a month, it is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires-- also due out this year
And in talks to be in The Prince of Cool --A new take on the life of Chet Baker, the legendary trumpeter whose heroin addiction contributed to his (reported) suicide in 1988
and August--August centers on two brothers fighting to keep their start-up company afloat on Wall Street during August 2001, a month before the 9/11 terrorist attacks
Both haven't begun to film yet so no date has been set for release.
Well, he broke up with Scarlett Johanssen and he is now supposedly dating an Italian model named Sveva Gualdi

He was going out with Scarlett Johanssen for a while but they broke up a couple of months back...
