Hi, everyone. I'm looking for movies that aren't linear, like "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Pulp Fiction," and "Memento." I love to try to figure out how they piece together. Please, let me know of some more movies like this!

If you haven't seen Fritz Lang's, Metropolis then it is a must see as a non-liner movie. Be warned, it is a silent movie but is considered a masterpiece. Also a great non-linear SiFi animated flick is, Fantastic Planet. Fantastic Planet is French so try getting this movie dubbed as sub titled is not necessary in a animated flick. Then another masterpiece that might not be considered linear by some but is brilliant is, The Bicycle Thief. That movie is stunning. Last but not least is the movie The Cell, with Jenifer Lopez, believe it or not but it is very linear and very good. If you think any of these 4 movies I have given you here are a waste of time then please look them up and read their ratings and you will see that I have not steered you wrong.

I'm not sure if you are referring to flashbacks, but I think "Saw" and "300" are really good movies. Not necessarily puzzlers but definitely good movies to piece together. Also "The Prestige" is a very entertaining movie. All three I could watch at least two times. Now that is saying something!

Belle du jour by Luis Bunuel is a beautiful and creepy film which leaves one wondering if they understood the story, almost like a dream.
