how do i upgrade my PC to USB 2.0? my mother board is fairly new. is this a factor?

can i but some sort of ports that plug into the board and replace my old ones? i have a dell dimension 8100.

You can buy a 5 port USB 2.0 card that plugs into a PCI slot in your computer for $6.50

Go to Best Buy and get one of those PCI cards that is a USB hub....if you have a PCI slot open, you can get a 2, 4 or 5 port card and every port is USB 2.0.
