Go to www.symantec.com. find the Security Response button. From there you will be able to run an uptodate Virus scan. In the results you'll be able to download the Program and Instructions to remove the Virus. P.S.: disable System Restore in the System folder before doing any of this as the Virus MAY be located in a DLL file and will re-install next time you reboot.

Trojan horse is not really a virus, but more like program that can carry a virus to be installed onto your computer. You might want to buy a program like Spyware Doctor which will get rid of it. Another program is Lava Soft's Adaware SE, which is a free one that might remove it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot http://spywarekiller.hyperboards.com/index.php?action=view_topic&topic_id=4 do that now .Update it http://www.spybot.info/en/howto/update.html (latest updates on 14th march 2007) and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html

then run AVG Anti-Spyware Free

then

2) Do an online virus scan to check and remove virus and spyware if you still have viruses on your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .

chum, AVG is this kind of anti-virus you should acquire in case your operating off of a firewall and/or router or something like that. AVG cant face as a lot as extreme viruses. purchase Norton Antivirus 2007 and run an entire experiment, which will do the trick, believe me.
