my grandfather who passed away had a black convertable 1936 o'conner cord. he was the original owner and i waoul like to find out where it is, condition, etc..

Well with no big budget you are out of luck. Lot of those titles are not able to say who the original owners were. Also, you would need a car number and stuff. Then you could post ads in the antique car sites with the VIN and see what happens.

Of course, if this was a CSI: Miami case they could find it within an hour. lol They have to so the case can get solved in the hour it shows.

There is probably a Cord club.. The car is A; restored and worth $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ or, B; now parts in another Cord, or C; sadly gone forever.

the only way i knwo of is dmv and you would have to have the vin number off the car but maybe if you called the state that it was last in and you explained the situation with the local dmv office there they might tell you also car fax if you have the vin number they can tell you the decription of the car or what its been through

You can try your local DMV providing you have that vehicles' Identification Number.Otherwise you may as well forget it.
