I have a 2wire homeportal monitor and the middle light is orange. I ran the system setup wizard and it said everything is fine except it can't connect to my internet service provider. HELP!

I use 2wire too....

I've had intermittent problems, but not in a while, whenever my connections goes whackos....I usually try and just reset the router by taking the power plug out of it and then plug it back in after close to thirty seconds...then let the router reset itself completely before trying to connect to the internet...(top two lights should be green before connecting with your computer). Once its reset, then retry the connection.
If you're still having problems, there could be a routing issue and you may need to call your internet provider to have them do a check on the phone line to make sure there isn't any line noises that are interfering with the connection. If they can't get it cleared out, then there is a possibility that there is a hardware issue with the router you're trying to connect with or even a server problem that they have to investigate for you....

good luck....

If you didn't change anything recently, try the following:

1) Power off your PC

2) Power off your DSL modem for 2 to 3 minutes and turn it back on

3) Turn your PC back on and try again

If it's still not working and you have a router, do the same steps above except power the router off/on too in Step 2. Don't forget to call your DSL provider's tech support. It's free you know!!

you does no longer be waiting to get DSL without a 2d DSL modem or shifting the unique modem to anyplace your workstation is. My substantial suggestion is to purpose shifting the instantaneous router and repositioning the antenna to different positions. attempt and save it remote from metallic issues, tvs, video show gadgets, any electric powered kit and positioned it as intense as attainable interior the room. One determination is to purpose and pass the entire setup, instantaneous router and DSL to a greater advantageous room interior the abode, IE greater centralized.

Unplug the power cable from the the cable modem and completely shut down your computer. Let it sit for 5 - 10 minutes. Reboot your computer and reconnect the power cable. Wait a few seconds, and the lights should blink normally.
