A. Don't refer to it as "dumping."
B. Lack of attraction could be due to many things; try counseling.
C. If you still think it won't work, then admit that he and you could be happier apart.

It depends on how long you have been together. After many years this does happen to couples. Have you tried counselling ? Do you really want out ? Maybe you just need some time apart, without the divorce ? Think about it before acting on it.

I agree, I would begin with a mutual separation, and see what happens from there. Maybe you will miss your spouse, and realize that you want to stay married. Or, maybe you will both realize what is best for you is to divorce, and then it will be mutual, and not as heart breaking...

There isn't an easy way of getting out of a relationship. Foremost, honesty. At least, thats what I would expect if my husband decided he didn't want to be married anymore.

There is not a way to brake up without hurting someone, but to tell them as easy and considerate as you can be. Telling them I'm not happy and you need someone who can love you the way that I can't. Is not you is me.

I agree with Toni B.

There is no easy way out of a relationship.

just be honest with the person and tell them that you are not
happy and that you want a divorce. the longer you dwell
with the harder it will get.

You sound heartless. For their sake, break it off tactfully. There will be some sadness, but for yours and their sake it is much better to break it off ASAP.
