Have you been on bed rest? Sometimes, you can get some fluid in the lungs on bed rest. You should be seeing your doc frequently now (at least weekly), if you don't have an appointment within the next 4 days, call him. Coughing can put a lot of pressure on the ribs at this stage and can really pull on muscles you are going to need. The appetite issue is common with a chest cold but may also mean that you are getting ready to go into labor. Stick to light meals especially with fresh veggies and fruits for now. You are full term now, so you don't have to worry about early labor etc, don't be afraid to walk around a little to help clear your lungs out.

Hang in there... the last month of my pregnancy I lost 4 pounds. The baby is bigger now and there's less room in your middle which can make eating hard. Drink plenty of fluids and eat when you can. You only have a week or two left before this will all be a memory. The cough maybe part of the problem too. Do you have a stuffy or runny nose? If so the drainage could be making you sick to your stomach and not the pregnancy. Talk to your OB he can suggest something to relieve the drainage that's safe for you and the baby. Good Luck & Congradulations!

I would say if your appetite had been OK up until now it sounds like you are getting sick. Unfortunately pregnancy doesn't protect us from everyday illness. Add a bad cough to that and I would say contact your OB/GYN in the AM and let them know what is up. They will be able to tell you what meds you can take. I know there is an over the counter med at pharmacies for nausea associated with pregnancy. You could try that until your doctor gives you other ideas. At least you know at this point the baby should be safe to deliver. Still not a good time to be feeling ill. Good Luck and I hope your delivery goes quickly and well..

Not much you can do. My wife weighed less at delivery than she did at conception for our first one. Just hang in there. Your body is going through a lot right now. It is probably nothing, but still I would talk with your OB and see what he/she suggests. Hormones can do some wicked things to you. Take ANY advice here with a grain of salt. Good luck and love that child everyday when he/she comes!

You might have a stomach bug. But your doctor should have a calling line that you can call with questions like this. I know I went through something like this too. But to me it sounds more like your sick with a virus or something. Get lots of rest and ask your doctor but im sure it will go away and you'll feel fine. If you dont and it gets much worse then go into the hospital and have them check you out. its better to know your ok then to worry and stress.

Most womens appetite decreses toward the end of your pregnancy. I guess your body is starting to prepare for life after eating for two. Also for the cough, you might have a cold or upper respatory infection or something of that nature.

First, call the nurse's hotline for advice.
Also, have you tried making a smoothie? That's very nutritious and full of calories. That would be good for the baby.

your body sounds like its getting ready to go into labor, or your baby is up against you stomach. I used to get really bad nauseating heartburn. Give your Dr. a call but don't worry. It also sounds like you have a cold or flu.

This shouldn't hurt the baby or you as it should not last that long. Be sure to drink lots, even if it don't stay down.
It will all end very soon. If not talk to your doctor.
Good luck new moma to be. ~;}
