There is no oath in the paranormal investigation area of interest. What you are asking does not exist. Some pagan and Wicca traditions have an oath in their initiation but that is a religion. Now I have often wondered if some paranormal investigators hide some of their knowledge on things because when i first entered this field, I had a heck of a time trying to get information out of some so called experienced investigators, I later found out it was only because they did not know the things i was asking. One reason the Internet is bombarded with dust particles presented as ghost orbs is because they have never learned the difference in paranormal orbs and natural anomalies.

There is no such thing as a "paranormal realm". There are people who have psychic training or abilities. Sometime, groups of people will work together and form a club or a group (which in some cases may be called a coven). Each group may have their own set of rules or conditions of membership, and some of the rules may involve secrecy.
Any single individual who utilizes natural forces or special sensitivity to energies or stimuli may be considered psychic, and they are not subject to an "oath of secrecy" unless they have specifically pledged an oath on their own.
In other words, there isn't any "big psychic club" out there that every psychic belongs to. Could there be a group that requires secrecy? Sure thing, but not everybody belongs to that group. If you join a group, you live by the rules or you live with the consequences.

You are not punished by supernatural forces. When you take an oath in coven bond it is an oath of spirit..to break it without just cause is a matter of karma. The rest of your statement, in my opinion is basically true.

Yes I believe. I don't know if you do or not....but I do. This is true according to all religions. People can't take an oath of anything & just break it's rules. I'll tell you an incident:
My grandma (father's mother) used to pray god atleast 6 hours everyday. On the other hand, she always taunted and made fun of my mother. She took oath in the temple not to tease any being..but she broke it.
Reason is that she died an extremely painful death and according to some priests, she is now not getting place anywhere...not in hell & not in heaven. She is just around..somewhere going around..tree to tree, clouds to clouds. Now she can't even leave the earth. Painful.

Yes, you must bow down before the Almighty Grelb and take the sacred oath of Fester.
In the oath, you must swear fealty, and subservience, and grant the occasional sexual favour to his ugly sister (she has a great personality though, and a lovely singing voice) Moyra.
If you fail to meet your obligations, you must Gnarfle the Garthuk.
Is there anybody stupid enough to believe such nonsense.

all of that is balogna. there are cults like neo-tech and freemasoners and area-51 and it's all about what they think they can do, and they know nothing. i'd say 86% of our planet's politics is about domination, while it is and will always be acceptance that binds any group.
