why or why not?

Metaphysics are an area of fact, like any other area. Some metaphysical statements are facts, others aren't, depending on whether or not they're true. The definition of the word "fact" doesn't require that the truth stated in the fact be empirically verifiable. If it did, then metaphysics could not be fact, because there is no way to step outside of the physical world (so to speak) to make observations about its nature that you cannot make from within it. Some metaphysical theories assert that the physical world is illusory, but if we cannot step outside of the illusion, then all we can do is learn about the illusion itself, not discover that it is one. However, this verifiability stipulation isn't included in the definition of "fact", so there is no reason that a metaphysical statement cannot be fact, as long as it is true (though it may be controversial to call a metaphysical statement fact because you cannot demonstrate in a clear and undeniable way that the statement is true).

Personally I would say that for something to count as a fact it has to empirically verifiable. That is to say that a metaphysically speculation may be true, but still not a fact as it cannot be shown to be true.

A good example of this is Small's claim that the mind and the self are separate from the physical body is a fact. In actuality there is good evidence from studies of brain damaged people, the effects of hormones and drugs etc... to show that the mind is (as far as someone can determine the state of someone else's mind) dependent on the physical body but due to the fact we cannot experience another persons mind we are unlikely to confirm the truth anytime soon.

Metaphysics are facts as much as we know our mind is different from the physical brain and also as we are different from our physical body.

The most "important" metaphysical fact is that "all is one". Everything is connected and "made" from one "energy". You can verify this for yourself if you'll meditate diligently :)))

there is not any absolute metaphysical actuality of that, of course, yet neither is there on your claims, or something... ...which you will desire to to boot direct your inquiry at theists, agnostics, and all others. you will no longer convert others by using ability of exhibiting dismiss of the perceived actuality because of the fact such can not justify the atrocities carried out in call of your faith.

For some, if it is not mentioned in "bible", it is not a fact. It depends how you take it.
