For anyone who's worn prosthetics in a movie, what do they feel like on?

I've always wondered, what it felt like in a movie to be a monster, zombie or any other like charachter, and be more or less "encased", in that kind of makeup. Thus, my question!

My GF had a major in theatrical make-up, and she does me up every halloween, very professionally. You notice it a LOT at first, and it feels unnatural. But after a while you forget it's even on you.

You don't really notice it again until it starts to dry out on you.
