Is it safe to use whitening strips while breastfeeding? I have a 3 month old baby who is exclusively breast fed.

I asked my dentist the same thing. The answer was, no. Sorry! Wait till your finished, worth the wait! Congrats!

Stay away from the professional teeth whitening procedures and from the whitening at home kits. They are using extremely toxic chemicals that can cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO TOOTH ENAMEL and premature tooth decay.

I nursed my daughter for 3 years. I nevertheless brush with an hassle-free, inexpensive mix of baking soda and peroxide the different morning...and it worked wonders for my tooth. I won't purchase the costly stuff...while the climate i prefer are inexpensive and already in my drugs cabinet!

I have heard that it is not safe.

So I am putting it off till I am no longer going to feed my baby breastmilk.

Do you really want to risk it? The best thing to do is ask your doctor. Don't trust the answers you get here. It's a matter of your babies health! Seek an answer from a real Doctor!
