I read that Barack Obama has said that he has used cocaine in the past. Is that true, and if so, where did he admit this?

He did in one of his books admit that he tried it. But who cares? Everyone has a past, and nobody can re-live their lives as we would suggest. I'm a registered Republican and political libertarian, and I probably won't be voting for him, but it's because of his political philosophies, not rumors and skeletons.

Call the city desk of your local newspaper or send that question into one of the online news reporting services such as Yahoo, MSN, MSNBC to confirm or deny, as it sounds like the Republican Party propaganda machine has been sent out for a test drive. If he did use cocaine in the past and no longer does, I would interpret that as having more sense than the average politician on this side of the pond.
