[compiere.org] is an open source (free! free!) ERP/CRM system. They do all this:
* Optimize your Inventory
* Enter Sales Orders
* Receive Orders from the Web
* Create Invoices and record Shipments
* Collect Receipts (cash, credit cards) & match with Bank Statements
* Generate or enter Purchase Orders
* Record Supplier Receipts and Invoices
* Pay your Suppliers
* Enter manual Journals
* Print reports and statements

EXCEL is a very user-friendly - and FREE - data base. If you know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide you can make it work.

The best place to learn is by going to the HELP button when you open EXCEL.

The first step is to learn what active cells are.
The second step is to firmly fix in your mind that the columns across the page are "fields" and that the rows up and down the page are "files".

The data that you put into the fields can be anything - from addresses, to vendor's stock numbers, to your own stock or part number, to dates, to costs. You can even make it figure your profit margins for you.

If that doesn't help go to your local book store and ask for a book on basic data bases - EXCEL by name if they have it.

Good luck!

Try this website www.ExcelGoodies.Com , They provide live online instructor led training (doesnt it sound interesting ?) .. try taking up course with them. Its really worthit.. you would probably not purchase anyother softwares to maintain your business data if you master in excel.

They are the best for you, because after learning excel from them, they offer post training support. You can actually use this support to take their help in designing your business templates.

Well you got to decide on if you r ready to learn.. all i can tell you is they are 100% worthit..
