As a fellow Giants fan you gotta always believe in your team. Did anyone think the Angels and Giants would be in the WS in 2002? HELL NO! Did anyone think the Angels would rally from 5 down after the 6th inning and eventually go on a couple days later to win the world series? HELL NO!

The Giants look like they will be right in the hunt this year. They need a closer and for a reliable threat to bat behind Barry in the lineup. Bochy plans on having him third so this may be a tough task.

Barry's legs look great this spring. He stretched a single into a double in his first or second spring training game because the outfield was being lazy and not paying attention to him on a routine single.

Feliz will be Feliz and stink things up but the lineup will make up for it and protect him by giving him inflated stats once again.

The rotation looks like it can compete. You have a very good 1-2 in Zito-Cain (should be Cain-Zito in my opinion) with Morris and Lowry behind them. Zito has the ability to pitch great ball and has a Cy Young to back it up. Last year in his first full season in the bigs Cain took a no-hitter into the late innings a couple times and was pitching or did pitch 5 (yes 5) one-hitters. The 5th spot could and will go to Ortiz to open the season. Their back up starter will most likely be Jonathen Sanchez until Benetiz is traded then look fro him to possibly close.

The bullpen will get a major boost in late June when Lincecum joins the team for the last half of the year.

If Andy Pettitte can beat Cliff Lee in sport 3 of the ALCS later at present and win sport 3 to bypass up on the Rangers 2-a million in the series, they have a sturdy shot at prevailing yet another AL Pennant and attending to the international series back -- and beating the Phillies in the technique.

Yes! If Matt Morris gets out of his funk then the Giants have a great chance. The Giants are a terrific defensive team except when Bonds is in LF. I don't think much about the lineup, but somehow they are scoring a bunch in spring training. I like their middle relief and if they can find a closer we'll win it.

No way! Padres are going to win the pennant then the world series so i probably wont even watch the giants this season because the Padres are the best team in the MLB.

No, i dont think so. With the worst discrace to baseball on your team, i dont know. the long ball is what everyone likes, and when a roid ragin, bum takes over the lead, which i hope he dies one homerun behind hank aaron, people will not watch as much baseball. they also need more pitching, they need to improve in so many areas, just wait to the next off season, or right before the trading deadline, maybe you guys can get someone where their contract is almost up, or over at the end at the season

Unforunetly for you, no. Zito will not make the pitching staff that much better, and there offense is old and older. As much as it pains me to say it, I believe Dodgers will win the west. They made some nice additions during the offseason. They have a lot of young extremely talented players.

I think they can win the West. Their hitting attack is better than LAs, and their rotation is underrated-it could be truly primo. Benitez will have to stay healthy though, and the 'pen isnt that great. Its a competitive division, and they have a good shot.

They've got a chance if Zito is healthy and on his game.

yes. if bonds produces. my thought of production is 35+ homers and 110+ Rbis. If he cant reach this, they MIGHT make the playoffs.
