I have an LG-he dryer and there's tons of lint under the lint trap. How do I get it out?

The vac nozzle doesn't fit. I'll have to pick up some of those brushes tomorrow.

Linens and things sells this cool little box of dryer cleaning gizmos. One is a round bristle brush with a long handle for cleaning out the vent duct. The other 2 are for cleaning out the lint trap. One is a long skinny brush you push down in there and pull out the lint. The other is a vacuum attachment that is really long, skinny and flexible. it can get way down in there. The Kit is only $20 and worth it cause trapped lint can cause a dryer fire.

Get a pack of pipe cleaners in the craft section at Wal-mart... about .88 cents. Wire a few of them together to create a "wand" ...make sure it is long enough... you may have to wire a few at the end... stick it in the trap and wiggle around... wah...lah!!! No more lint!

I saw a brush at Wal-Mart for that in the grocery section along with the brooms. Or if you can get your vacuum to fit. The brush looked like a long baby bottle brush.

Use your vaccuum cleaner.....but you should try to open the unit to get better access....lint is a problem and potential fire hazard with gas dryers. Consult your manual on how to open the unit properly

vaccum cleaner......and also take soap and water and clean your filter once a month.
Do this test...bring your filter to the sink...see if it will hold water...if it does wash it with soap and water . The dryer sheets coat the filter with a film that air won't pass and it burns out your dryer.

Does your vaccum cleaner have one of those pointy little devices to put on the end of the hose? Don't know its name, but it might work.
