i'd say that it's not. Singapore is really different (pretty for an Asian united states). Singaporeans can hint their historic past again to China, Malaysia, India, and many different international locations in Asia. The way of life reflects this variety, as well. also, Singapore is a fantastically advanced city, such fairly some Singaporeans are used to seeing foreigners from Japan, u . s ., and eu international locations doing corporation (and traveling).

Nope - just look around you and you'll see people of various ethnicities working together, studying together, socialising, eating together and eating different food from cultures not their own(a daily thing for many, if not most). However, every society will always have some who are prejudiced and fearful of outsiders. The government has also repeatedly welcomed foreign talent as there is a shortage of workers. Of course a minority will always take offence to this - due to their own insecurities. But there's really nothing to worry about - come see for yourself!

I went there and it didn't seem that way at all, they seemed pretty open and interesting. The government there is more restrictive, so people aren't as "open" as in the U.S. for instance, however I loved it there.
