I get stuff there about once or twice a week. The clothing has gotten much better lately. I can put together an entire outfit for under $50... accessories and all. The best part is my family members (who are brand-buying designer snobs) will all coo over my clothes and ask me who made it and where and bought it. They're always shocked when I tell them it was from Wal-Mart!

I don't understand the detractors that say they don't shop at Wal-Mart because of products being made overseas. I challenge anybody to go into any retailer and find non-food items that weren't (at least in part) constructed from overseas manufacturers.

Another thing... if they treat their employees so bad... how is it they have so many of them?? I don't see the cashiers chained to the registers or anything! Are they brainwashing them? Shock collars maybe? Let's get real here people!

I've shopped there twice, and that is it!

They are large indeed, but Exxon Mobil is larger.

Four descendants of the founder, Sam Walton, are worth more than Bill Gates if you combine their assets.

I live for the day when this company goes out of business.

They've prostituted the way fine retailing should be conducted, compartmentalized it and pay low wages with little if no benefits (relying on the government to pay for healthcare), and destroyed many establishments in Sam's quest to flood the landscape with their ugly, sprawling stores.

Now that there are many other stores mimicking them, I can see an end to this scourge coming, and I hope it dries up real soon.

Give the people less crap and more quality!

Pay them a decent wage for long hours of work!

Restore solid family structure!

Give kids a break...have a parent home once and awhile!

Walmart is the antichrist, they are the killers of small business and have cheap chinese products made by little kids so that they are cheap to the consumer. I'll be glad when they get unionized so they have to pay the employees right, then they won't be so successful, or so cheap as everyone claims they are. Plus, they could give a crap about the consumer, they even want you to ring up your own groceries so they dont have to pay somebody too.

Never. Their reputation for inconsiderate treatment of employees, track record of "bullying" their way into residential areas against the wishes of the homeowners by threatening to sue the cities and their dirty, messy stores in the Reno, NV city limits has made me a Target or even K-Mart as well as "Dollar Store" customer.

I am Australian and when my friends come over who are usually brand name only people who would buy a pair of $300+ shoes and not look twice but they all LOVE Walmart,. we don't really have a one stop shop here in Australia so it is something very new. I also tend to go there because you get everything at once.

I'm not allowed in the Walmart closest to me anymore. I rode a bicycle around the store and told employees I was "test driving it"
