My picture to a comic book picture...how do i do it?

i see plenty of people turning their pictures into something similar to the picture below but i cant find out how to do it any help would be nice thanks.

You need a photo manipulation program like Adobe Photoshop. A free alternative is GIMP.

Anyway, you take the picture of yourself, then use a filter/effect like "posterize" to create a less realistic version. Then you select and copy just your face, and paste it on a comic hero you've scanned or copied from the Web.

If you're trying to do this professionally, then you would use Adobe Illustrator and trace the picture and then color and manipulate as needed. But the program is expensive and the process takes a lot of time.
