The original dollar used to be a silver coin,and there were also gold coins,which were tangible,permanently exchangeable goods,but with paper money,nations are buying trillions of dollars of goods,carrying on costly wars and services with virtual money out of thin air!Will everything collapse soon?

Study the book of Revelation. We're in the 'end times' and the collapse of the monetary system will be part of "The Great Tribulation".

Nothing will collapse as feared. From the times immorial, barter system has been in existence which was later on replaced with precious metal for convenience, metal, paper and now plastic currency with the advancement of trade and commerce. Even with e-commerce and e-business is done on internet replacing the need of any currency at all. But at lower level of population, business will still be conducted through currency.
