Is it common for butches is only want to give and not receive sexually? Don't they like being touched just as much as touching their partners?

Yes, in fact, it is. It's always been a stereotype and long-lived trademark of butch identity to not like to receive sexually. There used to be an old, unspoken rule that butches do not ever, ever get penetrated, at least not vaginally. The word 'butch' used to be synonymous with top, and most butches were assumed to be stone butches- butches who feel extremely uncomfortable being sexually touched. This is back in the day when butches often bound their breasts and left their clothes- top and bottoms- on during sex.

Thankfully, the old stigmas have been blasted down. Being butch has absolutely nothing to do with how you like sex. There are tons of submissive butch bottoms, butches who enjoy being "pillow princes" (like to receive oral), who like getting penetrated like nobody's business. There's a Tribe 8 song called "Butch in the Streets" all about those famous butches who are tough when outside, but love being "femmes in the sheets".

Still, there are lots of butches who don't enjoy receiving sexually. Sometimes it has something to do with their bodies and gender identity and feeling uncomfortable with them, with feeling emasculated and feminized by their bodies/genitals (some butches like being touched, but only if their parts aren't referred to with feminine names, like chest or pecs versus breasts or boobs), or feeling powerless by being the recipient of penetrative sex. But then again, sometimes butches just don't like recieving sex acts, and it has no emotional/psychological component.

Basically, it's going to depend on the butch, much the same way what you like in bed is pretty much an individual thing anyways, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Some butches might gradually warm up to receiving, as they start to trust their partner; some can receive for their partner's sake but not get much out of it, some simply can't abide by it at all. You'll just have to ask and be willing to understand or make compromises.

a stone butch doesn't usually want to receive sexually.........there's too much to go into here but you can read up on it easily enough....some butches will learn to enjoy receiving if given time and understanding. Because of the mentally around here I wont go into details but wish you luck if you're involved with a stone butch....in my opinion, butches are the best!

Is that what i am?..hmmm..yeah i guess so..speaking for myself i rather give than recieve..in fact I've been in a relationship for 2 yrs now and even if we do other things i still rather give touch and please her than the other way around..i like the sensuous touches but when it comes down to the nitty gritty I rather do than be done..
