Americans now pay more for college than undocumented workers.
A few years ago, California's Democrat government decided undocumented workers should pay less for college than Americans. Americans living in other states who use a California university now pay more than undocumented workers.

This website says "Abel Maldonado, R-Santa Maria" doesn't like California's Republican governor.
"An interesting sidenote is how Sen. Abel Maldonado quickly jumped on the Minutemen comment as an opportunity to blast Schwarzenegger after the Governor left him in the lurch during the Republican Primary for Controller. Maldonado took heat from conservatives for carrying a minimum-wage increase bill that Schwarzenegger asked him to take on, but when Maldonado wanted Schwarzenegger's endorsement, he stayed silent."

"Their lawsuit, which was filed in state court, was submitted on behalf of 60,000 U.S. citizens who, the plaintiffs estimate, have paid out-of-state tuition rates at public colleges in California since 2002"

The measure by Assemblymen Marco Firebaugh, D-Los Angeles, and Abel Maldonado, R-Santa Maria,
Now whats the "lib" charge all about...didn't you read your own post?
This makes it a joint effort by both parties like the one in Texas to screw all the tax payers over. But you are so wrapped up in "hate " for the democrats ,you can't see the republicans screwing you.

Dude they live in the state, so they get the state discount. You're trying to make it sound like they pay less than other Californians, when they are given the same rate.

It was a referendum I believe voted on by the people!
California is currently run by a Republican , who is a deserter from the Austrian Army! Sound familiar!
And America, and California, which was stolen from Mexico, is part of a Republic! We are not a true democracy! Never were, never will be!

That is just the beginning. I have no idea what they think they have to gain. Illegals are receiving huge hunks of government money both state and federal.
On this subject, our country is completely nuts.

I wish that I knew. It is really incredible. Bank accounts, credit cards, houses, welfare, free medical, free education, not just primary and secondary but higher and protection from prosecution.
Maybe instead of getting rid of the illegals we should get rid of our politicians (send them to Mexico) and start over.

That was by both REPUBLICANS as well as Democrats. Everytime you come on here and make statements about Democrats, it is either false or there was omission.
YOU NEED TO EITHER GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, OR START WORKING FOR FOX NEWS...

An undocumented worker who graduates with honors can claim residency in the state he works in. Yeah, pretty tragic.
Why are you so afraid of competition? I thought that was what conservatism was all about- everybody gets a shot to rise to the top.
Residency is not a "discount" by the way. It is the standard. The non-resident fees are what build up the school coffers.
