Roberta, I'm a female. Thank you. And I also believe that gays should be able to marry and I will definitely be voting for Hilary. So you shouldn't pass judgement for the mere fact that I asked a question in a neutral manner. Have a nice piece of candy and get your mind right.

Hopefully somewhere better than being at war with several countries at once and being led by an ignorant, hillbilly president.

Hillary as President? Scary thought, there...
When gays can legally marry?World-wide? A major obstacle out of the way, and a step toward smoothing relations between hetro and homosexuals worldwide. However, there would also be many riots as well. Think integration (back in the 1950s and 60s), but on a world-wide scale. The Middle-East wouldn't be too happy about that, and neither would God-fearing Italy, what with the Vatican in its center. World-wide acceptance would come much later, but it would definitely be a step in the right direction, that's for sure.

Didn't you mean to put the words 'United States of America' where you put the word 'world'???
The USA is not the world!
The world does not revolve around the USA!
The USA is not the only country in the world!
There are may countries in this world where gays are already legally allowed to get married! And in fact there are even some places (states) in your United States of America where gays are legally allowed to marry - ok sure that marriage is not legal from a federal view point but it is locally where it is allowed!
I really dislike the attitude that everything centres around the United States of America!
*hugs*

well lets start with current situation Who the hell is leading our country?? does any1 know the answer. The only to real pieces i Know bout g.w.b is that he started a war that is going to last 500 years and he choked on a dam pretzel. And gr8 if he dies we get a pres that will shoot evry1s brains out. So i dnt thnk tht jackasses even have a right to impose a law that prohibits society claimed "misfits" from getting married (no offense im not gay but dont mind gay people). So to answer your question it doesnt really matter as long as we get thorugh this term. alive would b good to

Unfortunately, I don't think Hilary will be our next president. There are FAR too many woman-haters, homophobes, bible-bashers and intolerant conservatives in our country for her to get the votes needed to win. I hate to say it, but I don't think America is willing to have a liberal female president yet. It's kinda sad really...
P.S. I didn't mean to offend anyone, I was just giving examples. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

Gay marriage will come in time and we'll be better for it. Hillary will not help us though. Don;t forget it was her husband who fell far short with Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and she has yet to take a strong stance on the repeal.

Where will we be? The exact same place we are now. Orbiting our sun, third planet out. What will things be like? Same as now. Just a little bit more fair, a little less discrimination, but otherwise the same.

~I am for and against each, but even so, the world will be a better place without Bush.
We'll be in a place where there is an end in sight to the war.
I don't care who is president, as long as it's a Democrat this time.~

I don't think that Hilary will be the president, first of all. And I strongly believe that gays SHOULD be able to marry, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will be able to. If gays were able to marry however, than the world would be in havoc. People would be beaten up and killed for what they believe in. Please, all of you watch V for Vendetta, it shows a lot about what I think about the world and all of its conflicts.
