The other day, I had to use a calculator and couldn't find one. I had remembered that computers have calculators. The question is why do they and does anyone use it?

I use it frequently for simple calculations.

Originally, a computer is a computational device, a calculator or adding machine. They were designed to do work too tedius and repititious for humans.

I use it all the time (with 64 digit accuracy)

A computers most basic function is to calculate mathematical equations. I use mine somewhat frequently.

well i guess not a lot of people use it, but what kind of computer would a computer be without a simple calculator? people do everything on their computer, why not add and subtract? i use it. windows key, R= type in calc. easy open

I use just a normal calculator.
using windows calculartor or calculator on computer is somewhat uncomfortable for me...it just not used to it....

Sometimes when you are doing online work and got big numbers and there isnt anything around, yeah they do come in hand. So some people do use them, i do.

Why do they? Just for that reason, when you cant find one there it is ready to be used. I use it just that that often.
