I have this idea that everyone has a darker side but never talks about it. Their thoughts though tell a different story. I also think everyone could be bi if they really thought about it and really dug deep into their sexual sub concious.

What do you think about this and do you have thoughts that are completely opposite from how people percieve you to be?

Very interesting question! I don't know if I'd call it a "darker side", but I think people can't always guess how they may react to every situation. There are a lot of things that I thought I was unlikely to do, say, etc...and have done them (Never Say Never). We are all a work in progress. Experiences have a way of shaping us. The possibilities are endless until your dead, and maybe not even then.

I tend to prefer the Kinsey description of sexuality-- that we each have a changeable gender preference, and that some folks are more heterosexual than others. My sexual preference has varied widely during my life, and I am currently slightly more attracted to males than females, and am married to a male. I don't consider my attration to women to be a dark side; it's just an added dimension to who I am as a whole. I didn't fall in love and marry a "man"-- I fell in love with a person. Gender just didn't enter into the equation. If more people looked at love thru that lens, there would be a lot less self-hatred and we'd all have a better chance at finding happiness in life. We love to divide people into categories, and forget that we change-- and our sexual preferences can change too. We may say, "I'm straight," and if one day we discover ourselves fleetingly attracted to someone of the same sex, we either repress it, beat ourselves up about it, or decide that we're no longer straight and start hooking up only with those of the same sex. Most people's sexuality defies any permanent label.

I think everyone is bisexual to a degree. While you may not be physically attracted the opposite sex I think that if you found somoene and had no idea what their sex was for example an online relationship the love can be as real even if it is of the same sex. I think society tells us it is wrong to love another woman or man but maybe thats why there is a lot of unhappy people in the world. If people would just love and not worry about who they love then we would all be a lot happier.

i think of what you extremely intend to come to a decision is why you maintain going after those men which you comprehend are going to finally harm you. You KNEW this guy replaced into bi and additionally you pursued it besides. many times talking, people are not bisexual because of the fact they are finding to quiet down. they have a sexuality it is extra heightened than others. What did you think of replaced into going to take place? in case you nevertheless do no longer comprehend, right here you circulate... the guy is going to go away you when you consider which you are trying to pin him right down to some thing he's not interested in. There you circulate, i've got ended the suspense for you. look deeper into your guy or woman psyche and with a bit of luck once you get some issues appeared after out you will locate somebody who's extra effectual suitable for you and your desires.

I think everybody has a hidden side, but not necessarily a dark one. As far as everyone being bisexual, I could agree with that, but I also don't think both sides of their sexuality would be the equally matched, I think there would still be a dominant urge. People who actually consider themselves bisexual are probably pretty evenly matched as far as preferences go.

To say that EVERYONE is bisexual is just as dumb as when people believed that everyone is heterosexual, and anything is else is just a deviant choice. Or it's the same as some gays who think all men are gay when drunk which means their truly gay. All ridiculous. Some people are gay, some straight, some bi, some sexually confused.

EDIT: Angela M - It sounds like your saying that peoples sexualities change throughout their lives. I know people love to believe what ever is written and sounds like absolute truth, like the Kinsey scale, but thats not completely accurate. No ones sexuality changes throughout their lives. You sexuality is apart of you at birth. Some people simply become confused and bicurious at a time in their lives, and even choose to behave as a certain sexuality, but that doesn't mean their genetic natural sexuality changed. It only means their confused, but eventually go back to what they naturally desire. Some people don't go back for psycological reasons. But that doesn't change what they naturally are. This causes the illusion that ones sexuality changes as they grow. They're CHOICES may change, but not their genetic natural sexual orientation.

EDIT: And who ever gave me thumbs down then believe everyone is bisexual, which is discrinimation against other poeple sexualities.
