If Boromir were king...
-there wouldn't be a horse stealing she-elf as queen.(Arwen took Glorfindel's horse Asfaloth just to see her BF)
-Everyone wouldn't fall over in shock because their king wouldn't bathe for the first time due to his coronation.
-the whole "Isildur's heir" thing wouldn't hang over their heads.(family of thieves)
-Faramir wouldn't be stuck with "sloppy seconds"(Aragorn KNEW that Eowyn had fallen for him!)
-Elrond could go to Valinor with Galadriel AND Arwen to meet up with Celebrian.
-The army of Gondor would be a force to reckon with.(boromir rocked!)

That means Gondor has abolished it's line of kings and has made a steward King of Gondor. Evil will win.
