Just cut off any type of communication with her, if she calls ignore them , if she visit don't open the the door etc... eventually she will stop calling and take the hint!

So you just woke up one morning and decided that this person was horrible even though you have been friends for 3 years? I would suggest if she is that horrible that you just tell her that the friendship is over as people cannot read your mind. And as you have not given one specific thing that this person has done other than think a lot of themselves I would say that you possibly have a problem yourself and should perhaps look in a mirror.

Sometimes friends out grow each other. You can slowly start to not hang out with her. You could also explain that you think you are both growing apart, but you take the chance of hurt feelings, hostility, or anger.
I would start to put distance between the two of you and then re-evaluate how you feel in a few weeks/months.

Dint see her anymore, no phone calls incoming or outgoing just lose the contact it's what i did...It works and if u do bump into her just ignore and make it out that Ur not interested in any crap she has to say!..
