I am not sure if she is married or not, so would I call her Ms., Mrs., or is there something else that I should use?

Ms (Miz) is proper, but you can usually say Miss and Mrs's won't be offended. At least, I'm not offended to be called Miss when I'm a Mrs. But, being called Mrs. when you are a Miss probably WOULD offend me...

Well her age would depend alot, but some people really don't like Ms, a married women does not like to be called Miss, so it's best to call her Mrs and let her correct you. That is the lease offensive. Unless she is obviously to young to be married then miss would be safe.

Just call me Sweetheart! Growing up in the South, I heard Honey Child all the time, I like it, but never hear it anymore! :-( There is no harm asking a woman if she is married, engaged, or other............. How about Pretty Lady, followed by her name? No one minds a compliment now and then. If you smile nicely while saying it, so she knows it's not a joke or you being sarcastic. Remember, even some beautiful women feel ugly & might think you are making fun of them, unless your smile and eyes tell her you really feel that way. Be brave, young man!!! :-) GOOD LUCK TO YOU! PLEASE do not stress over what to call a woman, life is much too hard for that!!!! Try Goregeous Susie B. [if her name is Susie B.], then ask her if she'd be interested in a date with you, because you certainly are interested in her IF SHE IS AVAILABLE. THAT'S HER QUE to tell you her situation. Again good luck!!!
