Why wouldn't he? Bush needs to let his daughters make their own mistakes and allow them to find out the truth about liberals on their own. He and Laura will be there to pick up the pieces once they've learned their lessons.

His daughters said in an interview that they were not conservatives and they are good friends with a lot of gay people, so I would say the chances of them dating a liberal are pretty good. A lot of children have very different political and social views than their parents.

I suppose so. The young are disproportionately liberals. He would hope they dated one who would grow and mature to become enlightened with age.
I'd let my dating age daughters drink freshly corked wine, too. But I would hope they'd developed a taste for something of higher quality, as they themselves aged and matured.
