I have pain in my girly area. To be specific, its done in my lower area by my lips, mostly on my left side. The problem is, is that I can't really pinpoint the exact place that the pain is coming from. The pain started to be prevelent about six months ago and has continued to get worse. At times I would think that it was a mild bladder infection. But since the pain would come and then go I never went to the doctor. Since the pain has continued to get worse and be more regular (being daily) I have started trying to remember when this first started and I think that it has been going on for a long time. I had an abortion 6 years ago and had complications. Could this be relevant, someone suggested scar tissue? Is it possible for the pain to be that bad? The pain is like dull sometimes and then at other times it is more severe. but never severe enough to restrain me from my normal life. Also wondering if it could be a cyst? I already made a doctor appt. not for another month tho.

Go to the Er (asap) til you get to the dr. probably some sort of infection that you don't want to get worse, stop having sex til you get this checked out.
Yes I been having the same problems, since an abortion a few months ago, went to several Dr. & had exams an a ultra sound they found nothing, luckily but I still have weird periods & pains here and there, possible the Dr. mess something up,scar tissue, not healing inside properly.I think I had intercourse too soon after even though they said I could & I was healed.
G-D bless & I hope it works out for you

The fact that you feel discomfort near your labia does not mean that is where it is originating from. Pain often manifests away from where the problem is. As a layman I can only say it is not from your abortion. Beyond that, I would not want to speculate what is causing the pain. The advice I can offer is to not accept what people (wanna be doctors) tell you here. Pain is a warning that something is amiss and only a health professional can ascertain it's cause. Isn't there somewhere you can go prior to a month? I'm sure people love you and you're too valuable to gamble with. Find professional help now.

I will give you the best advice possible...get a sooner appointment. Even if it is only with a GP. If the pain is getting worse it is likely the problem is getting worse...and problems in that area should not be ignored!! Good luck and get another appointment...SOON!!

I doubt it was the abortion...the first thing that came to mind was vulvodynia.

More information about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulvodynia
and http://www.vulvodyniasupport.com/

You might try the treatment suggestions there and see if they don't help before you can see the doctor. At the very least it might help you with a process of elimination.
