Well your car is such a tiny enclosed place that you can actually hear your voice up c;lose and personal.
Since your home is such a large open space your voice has more room to travel away from you and therefore sounding better because you can't hear it as well.
Oh and I try not to sing in either because the sound of my voice scares people.

My is better in the shower. I think that if nobody is around we think it sound good and when someone is around we try to make it sound better, but we make it worst.

probably because in your car your voice echoes more and you can actually hear yourself. and at home the sound waves just escape and you really dont hear yourself as much.

I sound better in the shower. Probably because the shower noise drowns off my off-key voice.
