cats have seizures often - that's what it sounds like to me.

I would imagine a good week to ten days

I am sorry she bit you. Did the Doctor tell you to keep it bandaged? Don't they say cuts and like that heal faster with a bandaid and antibacterial cream? If you keep it clean and bandaged and keep cream on it, I have had bites stop being noticable after 4-5 days, and heal closed by a week.
But how's your cat?? did you know there is a big recall of can and pouch cat foods? It's a recall of 41 brands! She may be sick. www.menufoods.com

after making sure your wound stays clean and you use up all of your antibiotics then it should be nothing any different than a normal wound
I had some nasty cat bites and scratches after our cat attacked me. They took about two weeks for the smaller one and for the largest ones about three weeks to heal and one of them bothers me still from time to time. In time the scar tissue will go away.
Do take your cat the the vet to see if there is something the matter with her.

Animals who have seizures shake excessively, may loose control over their bladders and almost appear as if they are drunk (staggared walking) I would have your vet do some blood work on your cat to see what her phenabarbatol level is.
about your thumb: you should get it checked out by a doctor especially if your cat is an outdoor cat and has not had proper vaccinations. other than that time will heal it.

Nascarrawk, did you remember to reset your gravity belt when you got to our planet?

Starr, go to the store and get some triple antibiotic cream, any kind they're all about the same. Dab a little on the wound each morning and put on a clean bandaid. It will help it heal quicker.

That's nothing new for a cat to do. But make sure you keep an eye on it to make sure it in not sick or something like that. And if your finger don't get any better, make sure you see a doctor.
