do you? i strongly believe in it, but is it just too far fetched? i am a total science geek and love physics, so i want to hear others' thoughts on it.

There is not yet a string theory to agree or disagree with. So far, it's just a description of a kind of work many scientists are working on. The field has enough potential for value that it's worth working on. If Newton were at this stage of development, he would say I'm working on force and mass and acceleration and gravity. When I'm done, if I'm right, you'll be able to make calculations relating them.

Let's just say agree with the comic of a guy at a blackboard going "Now the equations are beautifully simplified if we add another 92 dimensions."

in reality string theory is just like god.......its only there to explain what we don't yet understand.....it might be true, but now its just convenient
