Its difficult for someone who's parents are getting divorced. there's not really anything you can do to make her happy, but here's how you can ease the pain. Try your best to stay on good terms with her, the last thing she needs is a fight with a friend to worry about. Support her, sometimes she might just need to vent, you need to be there for her, even if it means giving something up like a trip to the movies or something, because she REALLY needs you. Try not to talk about it with her unless she brings it up, and don't say it will all work out, or "look on the bright side..." that will probobly make things worse. All you can do is be there for her, and maybe scheduele something together, to help her get her mind off it for a while. Hope this helps :)

you cant do anything. Just being there is enough you sound like a really nice friend. Good for you for standing up for your friend and being there for her. You're a nice, positive person, keep shining and you're friend if she has problems sh'll have an uplifting sholder to cry on. I think this question deserves a star and a hug because with your friends parents going through a divorce she'll want to talk about it with you and she'll have someone to turn to. That would be you. Just try to be an example for this sad situation she's in right now. Loosing your parents love for eachother is hard and she's lucky she has a friend like you. So keep it up, make her happy, and don't give up!

The main thing you can do as a friend is to just be there for her. Expect and allow her to be moody, confused, angry. Try to help her understand that their problems are neither her fault or representitve of their love for her. Just love her, give her space when she needs it, encourage her to get help if you see her headed for trouble.

just be there for her and let her vent to you any time she needs to without making a lot of judgements. my best friend's mom died and it was equally as hard. just try to remember that she would do the same for you if the situation was the other way around.
