If you try to go that long without washing at least your body, you're going to have some serious problems with odor no matter what you wear. I strongly urge you to take something along such as Campsuds or another biodegradable soap both for personal hygiene and for washing clothing and dishes. Trail work is hard and hot work; you are not going to want to go that long without washing, even though you may not be able to truly take a bath. A bottle of such soap and a wash cloth is all you need, and they simply aren't that much to add to your pack.

ok, you want an old toothbrush and some detergent. Laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, or shampoo ought to artwork. undemanding water may artwork also, yet detergent + water will be more beneficial useful. Take the pants and artwork over a sink. Use chilly water firstly. moist the toothbrush and scrub with water. Then positioned a touch detergent on the toothbrush and save scrubbing. The stain ought to start up to loosen. save rinsing the toothbrush and scrubbing until eventually the stain is out. shouldn't take lengthy. make certain each thing (stain and detergent) are rinsed out. that's alright to apply hotter water once the stain is out yet warm water will set a blood stain making it not straightforward to eliminate. carry the pants as a lot as dry making use of a hanger and garments pins, allowing 6-8 hours. Use a hairdryer on the moist spot once you're in a hurry.

Okay - if you are hard-core enough to hike for two to five weeks (I did mainland Mexico for 31 days), why in the HELL are you concerned about "odor"?

Huh?
