I guess for the same reason NASCAR fans like cars going around in a circle or NFL fans like watching overweight morons beat each other up over a ball that isn't even ROUND.
Go figure. It's a sign of the lack of education in this country.

Mainly two reasons...
Most wrestling fans probably watched it as kids.
The other reason is the same reason people watch movies and TV shows. Most movies and TV shows aren't based off a true story, so they in fact are all fake. Still nothing stops people from watching movies or TV shows.
MOST wrestling fans are fully aware that wrestling is "fake". Although parts of the physical action, and the injuries that come from them are real. Yes if a guy that strong punched you your jaw would break....We Know!
Nobody watches Batman an actually thinks the people who played Bruce Wayne's parents are actually dead.
Its all entertainment....why The Rock called it sports entertainment.

Ok, I'm going to make this point like I always do about pro wrestling. Yes, the competition is fake, yes, the storyline is fake, but the physicallity of it is 100% real! Unless you have stepped in the ring with a pro wreslter and got your self injured and still had the guts to get up and finish the match just to entertain the people who wanted it, and got the respect of those people, I suggest you just take your opinions of wrestling and shove em!

Nobody who watches wrestling thinks it's 'real' anymore, just as people who watch movies don't think that aliens are actually attacking earth or that somehow Charlie Sheen's dad is president. These same people also know that the ending is predetermined. They know that when Rocky steps into the ring, the outcome was known before filming even began. You don't believe that wresting fans are capable of making this distinction. We are. We suspend our disbelief, just like people watching plays, movies, television, radio dramas, magicians, and fireworks.

Because alot of wrestling fans dont believe it is fake. I personally like the cool moves and some of the storylines. Its the same thing with movies. We know that movies arent real but we still enjoy them and pay money to see them.

That's like saying why do people like Star Wars cause its fake? Whats your point. Its entertainment and we know the outcomes are fixed and we don't care. If you do watch something else.

Well people like movies & soaps - they're fake - they don't complain & still watch.Same goes for wrestling.That's why it's WWE - the E stands for entertainment.
