Real cowboys wear whatever they please, and I guarantee that tight fitting jeans are WAY too uncomfortable to fit that category.

It's a common misconception. They don't wear tight jeans, they wear jeans that fit. Not too tight, else you can't right, and not too baggy, otherwise they will hinder your performance. Alot of 'cowboys' are shown in tighter jeans just because it looks good and it's a good marketing tool.

Because that's what the girls who will sleep with people who dress and dance like pretend cowboys want them to wear. If you mean real cowboys, the tight jeans don't snag on spurs and barbed wire fences as often, and don't bunch up when they put on chaps.

WE wear jeans the way they were intended, some just fill them out better than others, the real question should be what would possess anyone to wear their pants so baggy that they need to continuously hold them up and whats with the boxers showing or worse yet some butt crack !
that just can not be comfortable and try to walk with your pants around your ankles.......... I dont get it !

They aren't really tight they are fitted. They don't get them caught on things or get hindered that way. Plus it also can be a country boy thing. A TRUE country boy looks nice. Button down shirt, jeans that fit and aren't hanging off their butt, and boots.

You would think they are so manly, and ride bulls and horses...I think it's because they like to show off a little to much, I don't care for men that like to wear tight jeans, just not appealing...

as already mentioned you wear jeans that fit cut for riding and little long to go over your boots.
If they are to lose or to tight you can get hurt or killed.

Ha, not only tight jeans, but a severely oversized button down shirt that blouses out like a parachute, and pointed boots. I have no idea.
