Its been known that when a person dies, their soul sticks around for a period of time to view their family and hope people react to their death. A soul can choose to leave earth or stick around on earth to look after their loved ones.

In spite of 'comical' answers that you might get from others on this, I suggest that you look up "EVP" on Google. Many people have reported that such a thing actually IS possible. The idea was first proposed in 1920 by someone to whom people really did respect -- Thomas Edison! There really are things that can happen for which there is no "off-the-bat" logical explanation in this world.

When you die, you die and are gone. Thats it. The end. You're just a decomposing body, and nothing more. - Thats what the bible says.
As for sticking a microphone into the ground... there's a thing called "Static" and another thing called "Wind". And then of course there's a thing called an Echo... If you brushed anything against a microphone, you'll pick up noises. Duh. Also the wind can distort noises to make them SOUND like words or voices.
On the other hand, people often also misinterperate things - by THINKING they heard something. This is often the case with "backmasking" (Hearing satanic messages in songs when played backwards). It's not hard to generate something that SOUNDS like something scary, evil... or voice-like.
If you tried an EVP instead of a microphone, maybe that MAY be more accurate. I'm not conviced otherwise.

What is this special microphone?..it can just record sounds of worms etc.
No, we can't hear. But if you constantly remember your loved one after death, then you can feel his/her presence, just around you..somewhere, sometime, like my grandma. Any person's soul can't be in grave. As soon as he/she dies, the soul leaves the body & according to their work, they get their punishment or good result. Souls don't stick to grave.

Give the dead ones a break!! It's bad enough that they had to live in this hellhole called Earth. I think the dead is saying, "Get that damn microphone off of me and leave me the heck alone!!!!"
