My dress popped open in front of some people yesterday and i was embarassed. I snaped it up again but all afternoon it would pop open again, and I couldn't get home to change. I went to a store and got a Belt, but that only helped a little.

Can you fix snaps that wont stay snapped shut? :)

Most snaps lose the nice tight snap they had when new. You might want to add another closure underneath where the snaps close. You can stitch a little strap underneath where the dress closes and have it button inside. This will take the pressure off the snaps.

You have 3 options. 1) Lose weight 2) Stop bending over or 3) Ditch your wardrobe malfunction. Option one requires effort, maybe more that one who half asses a fix with a belt can exert. Option two might be too dear cosidering the cost of replacing clothing. Option three seems like your best bet. No dieting or dollars to dish out. Happy living! Glad to be of help.

Get the right size- a dress that's too small or too big would pop open no matter what you do
