Just the simple fact that I am reading. I hear people say all the time, "Oh I hate to read." Half the time, the people that say that, cannot read. I enjoy being able to get away from reality. Well, sometimes. See, I like historical fiction and just plain historical books. I guess you have to to want to be a history major in college. ^-^

I love sitting down with a good book on a snowy or rainy day with a cup of coffee. I love to sit by the pool with a book on a sunny day with a soft breeze. I love to let a book gather my attention and thoughts away from the matters at hand in my own life. When I'm reading a book, I can focus on what I'm doing, rather than when I'm working on the computer or talking to someone and my mind wanders to the stresses that I have. The world of a book is enjoyable.

I love being able to picture someone else's life inside my head. Something created purely out of the imagination and influence of someone else's life. I try to think of the inspiration the author had and what he or she is trying to get across to the reader.

I love the fact that by reading, I am learning. Some people sit down to read a book just to get away from life, and, yes, I do that too. However, I also take notice to how the author writes and how he or she creates the discourse that exists throughout the book, throughout every book for that matter. I look for the ideas and thoughts that the author is trying to get across to me.

I love to read. That's almost all there is to it. I learn so much from it. Sadly, time plays a factor. Some days I feel I do not have enough time to sit down and read, but that is the beauty of it. That makes it all the more special when I do get to sit down and read.

There is so much that I love about reading that it would take a while to put it all down. I basically love reading because there is a book out there for every mood you are in and everything you want to learn about. I love the way there are little pieces of fact inside of a fiction book and I love the ability to be able to "drift off from reality" for a little while. I also love the way you can place yourself in the book and how if you are having a bad day there is a book to make you feel better. I love how it keeps me out of trouble and I love the imagination and dedication it took to write the book. I love the smell of the books as you open it up and the ability of relaxing you as you read the book. I love the............... never mind you get the picture. I could continue on but the bell is about to ring. Basically I JUST LOVE READING AND BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading provides the best escapism I know. Books not only relax me but often offer me a new perspective and fresh ideas on my own personal projects. Taking a break from life with a good book is the ultimate happy pursuit and one everybody should experience. Reading books from different genres and authors is as good as meeting people from all over the world. I've kept almost every book I've owned since I was a child. My mother once asked me why I didn't throw or give away the ones I don't read anymore; I told her they aren't just books, they're old friends.

i have loved reading since I was about 4, and learned how to read, and since I really do read all the time people have asked me that question a lot. i am sory that i still don't have a clear answer. i think, for me, it's the freedom of art in a book. meaning, when you watch a film, nothing is left to your imagination. if it's a book, although you follow the story and are captured by it, you create the world of the book in your mind, a clear vision of what something or someone looks like, what their world is like... so, you use your imagination, you actively participate in the story. it's what i like best.... and it's a wonderful feeling of mixing your own art with that of the writer

I love the suspense of a good book. Just the feeling of being enthralled, completely wrapped up in a book, being able to laugh and cry and create your own mental images of the characters..it's great. The best part is finding a book that leaves such an impression on you that it makes you want to read it over and over again and recommend it to everyone you talk to.

I like to escape in a book. I read books that I can picture in my mind as I read along. The characters are very real to me when I read. If a book just doesn't go to that place for me, I usually don't finish it.
Books are my release from the real world.

Take a strong seem at commonly used celebrities or everybody you seem as a lot as and do not replica yet take their type and do something imaginative with it. If the tanning makes you larger gentle then use that. on your hair, flow to wal-mart or a pharmacy and purchase hair gel, yet verify it really is strong high quality to prevent dandruff-like specs on your hair. Spike your hair up -- that continuously looks beautiful on a boy. strong success!!

Hi there Lalokitalinda, I love reading for a number of reasons. I love to 'lose' myself into a book that is both suspense filled and interesting. I particularly like the creative way in which authors are able to describe things which evoke a clear picture in my head of what they are attempting to convey. I also enjoy the way in which authors are able to draw me in and encourage my emotions, in order for me to empathise or sympathise with the characters and their situations.

I love to read, because I feel that I, myself, is in the story I'm reading. Like in the "NeverEnding Story", the boy in the movie feels like he is the character in the book, he is Atreyu. It's the same with my case. I love reading different kinds of novels, 'cuz I'm the actress in each of them! hehehe ^_^
