How do you flip K= 1/2 mv^2 around to get your speed?

You rarely use that expression by itself. It depends on the physical situation on how you would solve it. It also depends largely on your math skills. Are you comfortable with solving symbolically, or do you need the numbers in to get started.

Sorry, but there really is no easy way to say without an actual, physical situation.

However,

v = sqrt(2K/m)
