Christ on a bike! I've logged into 'conspiracy theories r us'
The 'puffs of smoke' you refer to were probably caused by the main structure at the centre of the building collapsing. By the time the damage is enough to blow outwards, it has already dropped a floor or two in the centre, the outer walls followed later. The rest of the post is not worth commenting on.

The word is 'plumes', not 'flumes'.
On to the questions:
1: The center of the building started going first, pushing debris and smoke outward. I'm sure you've noticed that a ladder laid across two buildings sags more in the center than at the edges; same principle applies to a building. Especially one that tall. Also, wouldn't fires have been started within the building itself by something like a jet liner crashing into it?
2:Hmm, I don't suppose that jet fuel is at all flammable or capable of exploding so violently as to turn an airplane into random pieces. Or that one of those tomato worms, when thrown into the side of a building at high speeds, won't flatten out and spread itself away and gone. Nah, not at all possible, and neither are the photos of the skid marks on the ground next to the Pentagon.
3: Because you haven't looked.
4: Not really, there was actual video shots from two security cameras.
5: No comment, as I have no information on that.
6: No, not really. If I did, I'd believe you.
Besides, if they weren't planes, could you PLEASE explain all the missing people and their families who, if memory serves, have had funerals for them? And what about the missing pilots and planes? If you had done your research outside your 'Favorites' list, you would have been able to answer your own question without resorting to trying to push your paranoic opinions on everybody else.
What if I had been related to the pilot of Flight 77, the plane that crashed into the Pentagon? You would have been reported.

There are picture of the plane hitting the pentagon. Now just take one minute and think about this, Do you really think that someone would set up the towers to blow up and kill all those people. as far as the 2 stories below thing. that jet was big, it had a lot of fuel how about when someones attic catches fire and the first floor also burns. If you have something the size of a airplane and it hits the ground at over 500 mph you will not find many parts. Remeber when the shuttle blew up. all they found was some waroms that were on the shuttle for tests. or how about the plane that went down in the fla swamp. They did not find most of the plane. they did not even see it with radar when big things crash, there is not much left. and for building 7 the tower were a little hot, they melted the metal on the towers thats alot of heat falling down

heh, its funny, no matter how many times I hear people say the heat generated was not enough. I was at John's Hopkins that day, as was one of the structural engineers of the twin towers. Everyone was watching what was going on, and he said that he gave them an hour before they would collapse from the heat. Let me tell you something about Jet Fuel. You toss a match into a bucket of it, nothing happens, the heat required to get it going is hotter than a match can provide, so how much do you think it would burn at full blast? Osama Bin Laden was an engineer, that's what he got his degree in, and his goal was to take the towers out. He may be evil but give him some credit in that he knew what he was doing. As for the plums of smoke, um, duh!! If it took an hour to melt thick steel, how long do you think it took to bleed through the floors, made of much flimsier material? Are there holes in the story, of course, no one knows everything about everything, but there are more holes in the conspiracy theories, as with the ones about the moon landing. Don't be afraid to question, but look at both sides judiciously, and always ask what does blank have to gain if I, and others, believe him (or her), for both the speaker and the critic, everyone has an agenda, and once you figure out what it is, you can be better equipped to judge the validity of their argument. Keep questioning your own beliefs, and if they stand up to scrutiny, continue believing in them, but never stop thinking you could be wrong, because no one is absolutely right (and of course defend your position, but don't get defensive, arguments can be learning experiances, not battlegrounds to be won)

Kitkat, if you had just one person look at loose change for the first time by posting this question, you've accomplished more than most people do on this site. The sad truth is ignorance is a choice selected by the many that are conditioned to not be able to distinguish between patriotism (love of country), and questioning government (who are not religion) and should never be believed or worthy of faith.

Believe this. A church a half mile from my house, newly completed, caught on fire from spontaneous combustion of rags left by the paint crew. The church burnt to the ground. The only thing left was a mass of twisted steel girders. The heat required to twist those girders was tremendous, and that was without JP4. JP4 is a mixture of kerosene and high octane avgas. It is highly volatile and burns at an intense heat. Intense enough to MELT steel, which is what happened in the towers. IF you really believe the conspiracy theories then you should pack up and move to France. They are behind most of those theories and when WWIII starts they'll be the first to surrender as they were in WWII.

You are obviously into the conspiracy theory. You're not explaining that without a plane in Pennsylvania how do you account for the charred remains found, like the Columbia shuttle? There is footage of a plane right after impact into the pentagon, of the rudder section embedded in the building. And as for those "flumes", did any of the planes that struck the towers ran into the buildings perfectly even? Photos show the planes angled somewhat and when you slam into a concrete structure, there will be some form of "flumes" in other locations.

I've heard fifty percent of the country think the same .
What you say makes sense but of course they didn't think Clinton lied or Nixon was never a crook . the Bay of Pigs never happened cause of the CIA and the USA govt would never decieve the American Public ,oh I forgot weapons of mass destruction were never mentioned to get authorization from congress. Ted Kennedy never accused Bush of planning the twin towers collapse either. So you still have unyeilding blind faith in the Govt and the Bush administration?
And never before in the history of the world has a little fire brought down a buiding like bld. seven yeah right when I turned on my stove the other day the gas flame melted the burner and the entire stove fell to the floor too. How dense is the public that never catches on even when the loose change crew documented plans for a second pearl harbor by the govt . I can't believe how either sheltered uninformed of afraid to admit it the american public is I always had thought that Americans had keen minds and would not settle for despotism or war crimes but after the Panama invasion was documented as a war crime showing helpless women and children murdered on orders to the US marines in a filmed account I knew better than to ever trust a the Bush family again . Now we have the image of the USA tarnished further throughout the world by the warcrimes of the US in Iraq after having fraudulently causing the attack on the world trade center .To quote Albert Einstein
Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.

Why do you people insist on dwelling on the past? You need to move on! Ok, I understand if the dwelling is used to develop a means of prevention in the future, but conspiracy theories contribute nothing to our society, except to produce paranoia and fear, which is exactly what the terrorists want from us. Why can't you accept that it is over? Why can't you just concentrate your energies on better preparation for the next incident? Why waste time assigning blame to an event that happened 6 years ago this September? Even the families of those who suffered have moved on. Why do you, an outsider, continue to obsess about other people's pain?

kitkat : although, i have my questions too about 9/11, they found bits and pieces of the plane in pennsylvania, and at the pentagon, see the link a little further down on the answers. bush and a few of his cabinet did and does today have something to do with it, why do you think the troops aren't home yet. there is all sorts of proof out there but you the american public will not do anything to get this idiot out of office. clinton got impeached for his little ''incident'', this guy has killed over 3000 americans in iraq. but you don't see his daughters serving, do you ? this is my opinion and not abuse. your all intitled to it.
