I'm new to Ubuntu and I'm trying to get Wireless internet to work and they tell me to enter commands but I dont know how to open the command line. Is it the Synaptic Package Manager? Because I cant find any way from here to enter commands.. Any help will be great thanks!

click on the image which looks like a terminal, you will get a command prompt

Look for "Terminal" in the applications menu somewhere, probably under system tools. I'm sure recent versions of Ubuntu have it pretty well hidden from you, even though you do need to use it sometimes.

Menu -> Accessories -> Terminal
You'll find that Accessories is the first sub menu from the menu list
